Dogs have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember.
My approach is grounded in empathy, science, and deep respect for the dog–human relationship. I believe behaviour is communication and that lasting change comes from understanding the emotional and environmental needs of each individual dog and their family.
I began my professional journey working hands-on with dogs across a wide range of settings in the UK, including dog walking, day-care, boarding, grooming, and kennel environments.
These roles gave me invaluable real-world experience with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and backgrounds, often in high-arousal group settings.
Alongside this, I worked full-time in a stable yard in my early years, developing strong foundations in animal care, observation, and welfare.
My formal training took place primarily in the UK through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and other leading providers.
This includes:
I continue to learn through conferences, seminars, workshops, and practical courses with leading educators in modern, ethical training.
While living in Spain, I hand-reared puppies from one day old using Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and structured developmental protocols used in guide dog and military programmes.
